Forest Riders Trail
The Forest Riders Trail is about 100 miles long and takes you through some of Minnesota’s lesser-known state parks. These trails tie into popular Minnesota trails like the Two Inlets, Smoky Hills, Paul Bunyan, and White Earth. The trail starts in the Park Rapids area, but it comes up into the Paul Bunyan and Two Inlets state forests.
Soo Line North Trail
The Soo Line North Trail covers roughly 52 miles of Cass County. It is in excellent condition, as the Eagle Country ATV Club maintains it. The trail extends from Cass Lake down to Moose Lake. The northern section of the trail is not far from Hackensack, and it’s a great way to see Leech and Cass lakes.
Paul Bunyan State Forest
If you are interested in staying in one place, it’s hard to beat the opportunities within the Paul Bunyan State Forest. The trails are maintained and mapped by the Paul Bunyan Forest Riders.
